ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS

    1. Competitors that are invited based on the top drivers from the previous 3 preliminary rounds. Acceptance of entry is at the sole discretion of the organisers and promoters who have the right to reject entries without giving reasons.

    1. All competitors must hold a valid driver’s license and be a minimum of 18 years of age.

ELIGIBLE CARS

    1. Any 4 wheeled production based vehicle classified as a car, including kit cars or limited production sports cars.

ENTRIES

    1. Entries for the event by invitation based on the top drivers from the previous 3 preliminary rounds.  Acceptance of entry is at the sole discretion of the organisers and promoters who have the right to reject entries without giving reasons.

    1. Once contacted and invited to join, competitors are responsible for sending correct and complete entries with the correct entry fees prior to the entry closing dates. Drivers and team biodata and photographs must also be enclosed for insertion in media and promotional material for the event.

    1. Incorrect or incomplete entries that have paid the entry fees (including driver to be nominated entries) are to be held in abeyance until they are complete and correct and the date of receipt for acceptance of entry purposes shall be the date on which the Secretary of the Meeting receives the missing or corrected information.

    1. It is a condition of entry that competitors have no right to any claims against HPC Motorsports Sdn. Bhd., Promoter, Organiser, Sponsors and any one carrying out their duties.

    1. Entries will be accepted up to the maximum number of allowable participants.

    1. Maximum number of entries accepted will be at the sole discretion of the organisers and promoters. Organisers and promoters reserve the right to refuse an entry

ENTRY FEES

    1. Finale Round

All Classes RM450

    1. Payment must be made by cash, money order or bankers draft. Cheques may be accepted at the discretion of the organisers or promoter. All cheques payable to Zero To Hundred, Cheques must be crossed. Payment made on official registration day will have to be either in cash or bank draft. The decision of the organisers or promoters on all matters of payment is final.

AWARDS

    1. Trophies and the following prize money will be awarded to class winners in the Finale Round up to 5th placing in each class.

    1. Trophy and prize money of RM5,000 will be awarded to the top time of day.

METHOD OF RUNNING

The method of running for both practice and the timed runs will be the same.

Cars will be lined up in the pit lane in their respective classes based times from previous preliminary runs

Cars are released one at a time by the re entry course marshal and overseen by an HPC official. Cars are provided reasonable gaps in which to do their timed runs unimpeded.

Each vehicle is to do four (4) laps, one (1) ‘out’ lap, two (2) full ‘hot’ laps, and one ‘in’ lap. All laps are to be done at speed in order to not impede other cars on the track.

PASSING is allowed, however it is advised that it be done on the straights and not side by side into a corner.

PITLANE SAFETY, PIT STOPS, REFUELLING AND REPAIRS

    1. The outer lane is to be kept unobstructed to allow safe passage of cars at all times. Stopping in this lane is prohibited upon pain of a time penalty. The onus shall be on all drivers to take all due care. The speed limit is 60km/h. Penalty for exceeding the speed limit may be a time penalty or EXCLUSION from the event.

    1. When a pit stop is made, it is compulsory to stop the engine unless engine adjustments are required.

    1. No refuelling will be allowed in the pit lane.

    1. Large umbrellas may be used along the signalling wall to protect from rain and sun. They must be securely tied to the railing along the pit signalling area.

ORGANISERS AND PROMOTERS RIGHTS

    1. The organisers or promoters may abandon, cancel or postpone the competition due to any or unforeseen circumstances.

    1. The organisers or promoters may cancel any class, which has less than 6 cars or amalgamate them to the next higher class at their discretion.

    1. The organisers or promoters may distribute the awards based on intermediate results at their discretion if through bona fide unforeseen circumstances; the competition is stopped before its completion.

    1. The organisers or promoters may exclude any vehicle whose appearance, condition or performance is not of a standard appropriate for the competition

    1. The organisers or promoters may refuse an entry without giving any reason.

    1. The Event Director has the right to stop the event or any driver for any reason.

    1. Engines may be stripped for legality at the discretion of the organisers. Competitors to provide mechanics and specifications of car.

    1. Engines may be sealed and cars may be impounded by the organisers.

    1. Cars will also be impounded after the event in case of any protest, which may arise. Protest time is 30 minutes from posting of provisional results

PITS

    1. The pit allocation will be done by the organisers and the decision is final.

    1. It is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure that his pit staff is fully conversant with all pit rules. Any contravention by any team member may entail the exclusion of the team from the race.

    1. No car may be driven in reverse in the pit lane. Immediate exclusion will result from such action. Mechanics are allowed to push their cars backwards to their designated pit.

    1. Smoking and drinking of beer or alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited in the pit or the track areas.

    1. Passes issued must bear the name and I.C. number of the holder and must be worn in a prominent manner at all times.

    2. Only compressed air can be used in the pits.

    1. Drivers and Crew must be properly attired. Minimum acceptable: – Cotton T-shirt, Jeans and Shoes (slippers are not allowed in the pits).

    1. Drivers are required to be in long pants with closed toed shoes. Fire resistant driver’s suits, gloves and high top fire resistant driver’s shoes are highly recommended. Hans devices are highly recommended.

    2. No spare car/engine or any other form of vehicle may be parked in the pits.

    1. Any such vehicle found in the pit of any team will be reported to the Event Director for penalty up to exclusion

    1. Pit to driver radio communication is permitted

    2. Persons under 16 years of age are not permitted in the pits and pitlane. Animals are not permitted in the circuit.

ADVERTISING

    1. Competitors are obliged to carry the main sponsor and co-sponsor stickers (to be announced) at designated spaces on the car (advertisement location diagram to be produced later). The decision of the organisers is final. Stickers must be in position before a car can be scrutineered.

    1. Any other advertising carried by a competitor must be declared to the organisers for approval. The organisers’ decision on this matter is final.

    1. The competition number if supplied by the organisers cannot be mutilated. Any branding on them cannot be cut off.

    1. All forms of advertising prior to or after the race by competitors or their sponsors must obtain the approval of the organisers or promoters for correctness before publicity. Approval for such advertising shall only be released at the earliest 24 hours after time of submission. The organisers or promoters shall not be held responsible for any delay in the approval of any advertisement.

    1. Advertisements on the results shall comply with (17.4) above and carry the title of the event at a prominent place of the advertisement. The size of the title shall not be less than 1/10 of the size of the advertisement.

    1. Rejection Fees for not carrying sponsors decals is as follows:

Main Sponsor: RM5,000.00, Co Sponsor: RM3,000.00 per co-sponsor.

    1. The competition numbers and their background must be intact and not mutilated in any way.

PENALTIES

Working on car when refuelling : Time Penalty + RM500.00

Provoking a fight : Exclusion + RM5000.00

Retaliating in a fight : Exclusion + RM3000.00

Other offences : At Officials discretion

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

GENERAL

    1. Any 4 wheeled production based vehicle classified as a car, including kit cars or limited production sports car.

    1. Cars for the Time to Attack Series are classified into the following categories:

  1. Lotus Cars
  2. Turbo FF (Forced Induction front engine front wheel drive cars)
  3. Turbo FR (Forced Induction rear wheel drive cars)
  4. Turbo AWD
  5. NA FF (Naturally Aspirated front engine front wheel drive cars)
  6. NA FR (Naturally Aspirated front engine rear wheel drive cars) Time Attack Machines
  7. GT Cars
  8. Supercars
    1. Classifications of vehicles can be changed either up or down at the discretion of the Event Director.

MODIFICATIONS

    1. Any modification is allowed on the vehicle with the acknowledgment that certain modifications may place the vehicle into a higher class through the discretion of the TT Director.

    2. Modifications made to the vehicle cannot compromise the safety or structural integrity of the vehicle.

    3. Removal of any or part of a vehicle interior, any structural strut braces, roll cages, slick tires and or major modifications to a vehicle will automatically place that vehicle into the Time Attack Machines or Race Car Category.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT/BODYWORK

    1. Safety equipment including fire extinguishers cut off switches for electrical and fuel systems, minimum four point seat belts, and Hans Devices are all highly recommended, but not required.

    2. Should safety equipment be installed, FIA regulations, certifications, and expiration dates need to be followed strictly

    3. Drivers are recommended to be in full Fire proof race suits with current certification

    4. Drivers are encouraged to use current certified FIA Motorsports Helmets.
